What is a Sangeet?
A Sangeet (which means “music” in Sanskrit) is a pre-wedding gathering dedicated to dance, music, and the joining of families and friends. Get ready to dance, mingle, and enjoy delicious Indian street food bites as we celebrate our communities coming together. And of course, there will be henna artists.
What should I wear to the Sangeet?
The Sangeet is all about music, dance, and celebration — we encourage you to wear festive semi-formal or Indian modern cocktail attire. Think colorful, fun, summer-forward outfits.
For a feminine look: lehengas, sarees, sharara sets, embroidered or beaded dresses, or co-ord sets. For a masculine look: kurta sets, bandhgala jackets, or bold print or color suits/blazers. Have fun with it! Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

What should I wear to the wedding?
We ask that you wear Indian formal or black tie optional clothing for our wedding.
For a feminine look: gowns, lehengas, sarees, anarkali suits. For a masculine look: tuxes, dark suits with ties, bandhgala suits, or sherwanis. Feel free to mix and match elements of Indian and Western style in your outfit, and when in doubt, dress to impress.
Can I wear Indian clothing even if I'm not Indian?
Absolutely not.
Kidding, of course :) We encourage everyone to wear Indian or fusion clothing for either event.
Are kids invited?
Yes! Kids are welcome at our wedding — please make sure their names are listed on the invitation. If you have questions, let us know .
How do I RSVP?
We'll be activating the RSVP by June 22 — please check back then.
What's the deadline to RSVP?
August 1.
What's the best way to get to and from the venues?
Depending on where you're coming from, both venues can be easily accessible via train or taxi/rideshare. We recommend giving yourself some cushion time on either end to accomodate for traffic or train delays.
How can I ensure my allergies or dietary restrictions are accommodated?
Please indicate your allergies and dietary restrictions clearly on your RSVP. We will work with our caterer to ensure you are well-fed all weekend — there will be plenty of staff available at both events to answer any questions.
